About Me

I have been married for 27 years and have two grown children. My passion has always been working with children and families. I love to travel and go on mission trips. I enjoy spending time outside hiking, kayaking and being near any type of water. I have a golden retriever that accompanies me on my outdoor adventures. I am an amateur photographer and like to use my creative skills to help others.

Education & Experience

I received my BS degree from Ball State University in 1987 in Public Relations and Counseling Psychology. I graduated from the Indiana University School of Social Work in 2011 with a speciality in Mental Health and Addictions. My experience is centered in the area of working with adults, children, adolescents and families. I have extensive background working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss as well as trauma. Another area of interest in is attachment based therapy in the family system as well as children in the foster care system. My experience is in the areas of community mental health, home-based therapy as a contractor with the Indiana Department of Child Services, school-based therapy and in private practice.
