About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of California. I am compassionately aware of my indigenous identity, as it relates to health and wellness in a holistic way. Much of my experience has been working with frontier and rural multicultural populations and Indigenous people, with an understanding that historical trauma and ongoing social trauma impacts our mental health greatly. I am LGBTQ-affirming and also proficient in recovery services for multiple addiction challenges. I am a mother of four children, and especially love supporting community strengthening and mental health advocacy. I believe you already have everything you need to live your best and be your best, yet all healing is painful and challenging. I use a trauma-based approach to healing, including somatic techniques alongside verbal processing. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT). I will meet you where you are in your journey, and provide support in whatever means you are most comfortable with, whether video, talk, or text. I am excited to begin this journey of healing with you!
