Education & Experience
Mark Odland is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice in Duluth, MN. As an Approved Supervisor through the Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy, he leads a team of therapists whose mission is to provide quality mental health care through his clinics in White Bear Lake, MN, Duluth, MN, and through online therapy to all of MN. Mark is a Certified Therapist and Approved Consultant with the EMDR International Association, He is also an Approved Consultant and Basic Training Facilitator with EMDR HAP (Trauma Recovery). Mark is also the founder of Bilateral Innovations, a company devoted to providing high quality EMDR consultation, resources, and continuing education. His distance learning courses, "Spiritual Trauma & EMDR Therapy - 7 Steps to Help Clients Heal," "The Artistic Flow Approach to EMDR Therapy,” and “Back to the Basics - An EMDR Refresher with a Twist” are approved by EMDRIA. Mark is the author of several EMDR-related books, including "EMDR Inspired Art and Poetry," "Taming the Tiger," and the "EMDR Coloring Book" series.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
Mark frequently donates his time to facilitate EMDR Basic Trainings around the country for EMDR-HAP. Mark has also participated in the Veteran Resilience Project in Minnesota, a non-profit collective of 20 EMDR therapists committed to helping heal PTSD for our state's military veterans. The organization allows for veterans to receive 12 sessions of EMDR, free of charge. Mark is also involved with Trauma Recovery/EMDR HAP as an Approved Facilitator.
