About Me
Maryam is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and offers counselling for anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, trauma, work stress, career development and issues specific to university students. She offers sessions online and in-person in Downtown Vancouver. Education & Experience
Maryam is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University and a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics and Mathematics from UBC. Areas of Practice: Anxiety, Trauma, Self-esteem, Relationships, Career Counselling, Work Stress, and issues specific to post-secondary and PhD students. Approaches: Mindful Self-compassion, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, AEDP & Narrative Therapy.
