About Me

Identity and relational health seem to be the primary reasons clients seek out my expertise. Many of my clients struggle with attachment wounds from childhood that hijack their peace at various points in their present. Unravelling complicated matters to reveal simple and accessible truths that bring relief and clarity, provides me with a good deal of motivation for the work that I do. I have a background as a Philosophy major and a lawyer, so I also bring an analytical and broad perspective to resolving issues for clients which often involves the cultural, spiritual as well as physiological concepts related to wellness. Many topics that were off limits in my training as a student, are par for the course in my private practice. Indeed, in sessions, speaking directly about power and external forces that shape our understanding of Self weave their way into therapy sessions as they relate to well-being, relief, ease, joy, connection or empowerment. If you think something is relevant, it probably is. EMDR is a welcomed modality that I have added to my "tools" as it helps unravel the hidden forces that are often at play in our intentions, beliefs and misery.
