About Me

Melissa Elliott, LCSW Behavioral Health Director at the Full Service Health Center in Paterson Public Schools, NJ. The FSCS Health Center was created to support students in our diverse schools through individual, Group and family therapy. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 30 years of practice, I have worked in schools systems, Outpatient Mental Health Centers, and private practice. I started my training at The Yale Child Study Center, and have worked on Child Study teams in two schools districts. I have been a Certified Group Psychotherapist for over 13 years and apply this knowledge to our groups here at the Health Center. I was trained in EMDR in 2017 and this continues to support my Clinic work but also my Private Practice in Midland Park, NJ 0732.
