About Me
I feel my passion for my work shines through every interaction, in a trauma-focused and attachment-centered approach, I help clients find hope and restoration for a brighter future. Recognizing the uniqueness of every individual and empathizing with the struggles they face on their path to healing of mind, body, and spirit, I diligently pursue additional training in therapeutic modalities. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional- level 2 (CCTP-II) and Emdria trained in EMDR therapy. This commitment to my clients includes ongoing learning, which enables me to tailor my approach to meet each client's unique needs. With a deep understanding of the effects of trauma on the body, spirit, and mind, I am aware of how these experiences can significantly influence the dynamics of self-compassion and relationships. Drawing upon my expertise and discernment, I equip individuals and couples with tools and resources to help them find healing from past wounds, uncover solutions for present challenges, and acquire essential skills for a future filled with healthy, emotional intimacy, and effective communication. I am trauma-focused in counseling adults who have been victims of childhood Sexual Trauma, and those who have Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), low self-esteem, and shame. I have had the privilege of closely collaborating with and receiving training from Dr. Roger Boehm D.C.C PH.D., a specialist in DID and SRA therapies. I have 27 years of teaching, mentoring, public speaking, youth, and women's ministry, as well as layman and professional counseling and coaching experience. I wrote a curriculum to help people find their Spiritual Gifts and use them in and outside the Church. This is now published in an interactive workbook and available on Amazon and in the office.
