Ms. Michele Guidry, LCSW-BACS
(she/her)
About Me
My name is Michele. I have been a social worker for 20 years. I'm in full time private practice in Baton Rouge. In the short time I have been learning this evidence based treatment, I have seen the difference it has made in my clients lives. I specialize in treating addictive behaviors. I did work at a nonprofit Baton Rouge focused on grief, so I receive a lot of referrals from clients with disenfranchised or complicated grief. From my own personal experiences, I have used EMDR effectively on clients with medical trauma who live with chronic pain. This experience helped me want to help those clients who were most vulnerable to these types of events.
