About Me
If you worry too much about too many things… If you are struggling to overcome difficult and negative life experiences… If you are looking for a therapist who just gets it – We may be a great fit. I work well with young adults looking to become the best version of themselves. I enjoy having fun in sessions and using examples from pop culture to make a point. I want to help you to learn to cope with life’s hard times, enjoy the great moments, and thrive through it all. I use an eclectic approach to assist my clients. I encourage body awareness, appropriate boundaries, and living your life according to your values. I am supportive and straightforward as I offer authentic care with no judgement - I want to understand you and help you live your best life, whatever that looks like for you. You are brave for researching the right therapist for you. If you are interested in working with me, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I look forward to helping you become the best version of yourself!
Education & Experience
I graduated from Suffolk University in 2016 with a double major in Psychology and Sociology and a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. From there, I attended Boston University and obtained my Master in Social Work in 2019. I have been independently licensed to practice clinical social work since April 2022. I opened my own private practice, Building Hope Counseling Services, in November 2022. Prior to opening Building Hope, I gained experience by interning and working in various settings including a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, a community mental health center, and an elementary school.
