About Me
Prior to Sandhill Counseling and Consultation & Mercy Hospital, Minami has worked with the populations include but not limited to Homeless Youth, Inpatient Psychiatric, First responders, Foster Care, Immigrants and Refugees, Seniors, Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Underserved, and Veterans. With her current two locations (Mercy Hospital & Sandhill Counseling and Consultation), she has successfully helped patients heal including sexual trauma survivors.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan. 1st Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. 2nd Master's degree in Special Education with Autism Spectrum Disorders from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO.

The 21st Ship for World Youth Leaders program participant (a Japanese Government administered program that promotes empowerment and connection among the youth from all over the world, with the aims of promoting youth leadership and cross-cultural understanding and exchange); International Youth Exchange Organization (IEYO) member; and Cheyenne River Youth Project participant on Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota
