About Me

My name is Naomi, my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am an inclusive and LGBTQ2IA+ affirming therapist. Our journey to a more joyful and meaningful life begins with the hope that your life can change for the better followed by the courage to take action. There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t. I help you tune into your wisdom and courage and will hold the hope that you may have lost. Together we will create a safe space where you can bring your entire self. With curiosity and compassion, we can discover the barriers to living the life that you want. No matter how long a problem or pattern has existed, there is hope for change. I graduated with my Masters in Clinical Social Work with a focus on Families and Adults and certification in Trauma in 2005 from the University of Denver. My years of work with veterans in the outpatient mental health clinic at the VA along with my prior work with women who have experienced intimate partner violence have shown me how the work we do in therapy can bring someone from a place of surviving to a joy filled life. I love to support clients in unlocking the barriers that may be getting in the way of living the life they want by using a variety of modalities including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment, polyvagal, Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT), Ego State and Parts Work, CPT, PE, and mindfulness.
