About Me
I work with my clients to help them understand what is and is not working in their lives. By examining the interactions, roles, and patterns of our relationships, we can learn to function more effectively at home, work, or in social situations. I help couples, families, and individuals cope with transition and change, those experiencing separation/divorce ways to effectively co-parent, and am an LGBTIQ+ ally. As a licensed behavior specialist, I assess behaviors and functioning to foster understanding about how the challenges and mental health issues that one person faces can both positively and negatively affect others. I specialize in family/relationship issues (including divorce and LGBTIQ+ families), anxiety, depression, grief, and job stress. I use Psychodynamic, Structural Family, and/or other therapies that best serve the needs of the clients, and am a General EMDR Practitioner. I am licensed to work with children (including those with autism) and their families. My unique experience in the public and private sector provides a breadth of experience to serve my clients.
