About Me

I specialize in working with people who have endured trauma and/or torture. I have years of experience of providing trauma-informed care and working with people exposed to child abuse, natural disasters, wars, domestic violence, and many other forms of trauma. I also have experience working with people with depression, anxiety, acculturation stress, people struggling with new life responsibilities and adjustments, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Education & Experience

I graduated with my Bachelor in Social Work in 2019 from Western Kentucky University (WKU) and with my Master in Social Work from WKU in 2022. As a graduate student, I received the Outstanding Student award. I have worked at KY STEPS for three years as a trauma-informed therapist.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

I lead a multilingual love club at a local high school, lead preventative educational classes to new arrivals of refugees, asylum-seekers, parolees, and other people who are displaced, and a culturally-competent parenting class.
