About Me
I operate from a person-centered orientation and strongly believe in customizing treatment to fit each individual’s needs. While we will work as a team, you are the expert; I will entrust you and your lived experience to guide us. I utilize expressive arts, mindfulness, trauma-informed movement and breathwork, Brainspotting, EMDR, strengths-based interventions and more to assist you in accomplishing your goals and empower you to trust and believe in yourself.
Education & Experience
I have formal education in studio art, a bachelor of arts in psychology, and a master of arts with a dual specialization in clinical mental health counseling and school counseling. During my time in the mental health field, I have gained experience in schools, including school-based mental health, as well as outpatient and inpatient community mental health settings. Additionally, I have training in working with diverse populations, military/veterans, and military families. I also have advanced training in trauma-focused approaches, such as EMDR, Brainspotting, meditation, breathwork, and yoga-based somatic movement. My passion is expressive arts, and I am currently working to become a Certified Expressive Arts Therapist.
