Online Therapy

About Me

I am trained in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectic behavioral therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement desensitization and Reprocessing), and person centered psychoanalysis. This allows me to provide comprehensive treatment for not only what brings you in initially, but also support any new challenges that may arise through our work together. My style has been described as collaborative, warm, interactive, direct, and non-judgmental. I use a variety of techniques to bridge the gap between the conscious and unconscious. In doing so, balance is achieved between the self and the world allowing for healing and growth.

Education & Experience

I attended Sonoma State University where I got my undergraduate degree in Human Development and a Minor in psychology. I then worked as the case manager for a boy’s group home in Oakland California helping young men learn life skills to support them socially, educationally, and therapeutically. I obtained my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, San Francisco and proceeded to work with those managing substance dependence. Following this, I worked in the Belmont-Redwood Shores School District as a therapist providing support to children, teachers, and families. Later, I worked for non-profit corporations providing support to young people who are on the spectrum of autism and their families. For the past several years I've been providing therapy to children, teens, adult, families, couples, and the elderly. My journey has allowed me to gain experience working with a wide range of concerns and with those of all ages and backgrounds. I am grateful for the opportunity to provide support to those in need.
