About Me
I specialize in helping womxn develop deep and lasting self-esteem, healthy relationships, positive self-identity, effective communication, and meaningful engagement with work and life. My approach to counseling is trauma informed and is grounded in a commitment to social justice. Using a collaborative model, I partner with clients to address short and long-term concerns with compassion, understanding, and concrete tools/skills. I can be particularly helpful to those who are struggling with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, the effects of trauma, grief and loss, major life transitions, or interpersonal conflict, as well as those who would like to increase overall well-being and quality of life. Whether working to address a specific concern or more general life questions and struggles, I bring warmth, flexibility, and an honest, direct approach to the counseling process.
