About Me

Shelby is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received a Master's in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. She has been working in a private practice setting since 2016 and has experience working with individuals with a wide range of mental health, relationship, and self-esteem concerns. Specializations include trauma and attachment healing with adults and adolescents. Trauma and attachment wounds can appear as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, etc. Along with EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), Shelby integrates many additional therapy modalities including, but not limited to IFS (internal family systems), Polyvagal Theory (certified Safe and Sound Protocol provider), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and creative arts to help decrease these symptoms. Shelby believes that all individuals have the power to reach their goals and is passionate about creating an individualized plan and a safe space that will provide healing for mind, body, spirit.
