About Me
Dr. Ruggiero lives on North Tenmile Lake in Lakeside, Oregon with her spouse of +30 years. She has two adult sons and enjoys kayaking, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. Professionally: I have worked in research (e.g. ADHD, learning disabilities, weight loss, art therapy, integrated health care), with couples (e.g., Gottman Method), clinical behavioral health, trauma, forensics, and education.
Education & Experience
Sherri Ruggiero obtained her doctoral degree in counseling psychology from Northern Arizona University and is currently a psychologist for Northern Arizona Healthcare (behavioral health and integrated healthcare in the primary care setting). She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Colorado-Boulder with both teaching and research experiences. Post-undergraduate experience includes 6 years as a research assistant for the Institute for Behavioral Genetics.
