About Me
Shirley has dedicated the past 9 years working collaboratively with children, adolescents , adults and families in a variety of community settings including: drop in youth centre, youth secure custody, women shelter, elementary and high schools, youth probation, child protection and most recently outpatient mental health. Shirley is committed to ongoing professional development has become a certified Circles of Security Facilitator, and has completed training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, synergetic play therapy, and sandplay.
