About Me
Susan Graves is a specialist in family counseling and trauma; she holds a Master’s degree in Couples, Family, and Adolescent Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado, a CACREP accredited Master’s program. She is currently offering in-person and online live video counseling sessions. Susan’s empathy, skill, and experience lead to a positive, supportive therapeutic style which many have found to be very helpful and filled with growth and personal insight. She has additional training in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma Treatment, Parenting, Play Therapy, Gottman Method for working with couples, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, among others. She also holds a graduate certificate in Global Public Health and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. She is licensed by the state of Colorado in counseling. She has been practicing mindful meditation for over 20 years. When at play, she loves to spend time with family and friends, preferably in the beautiful outdoors of Colorado, and anywhere there is moving water.
