For more information visit www.healingthroughauroras.com I became a therapist because I know what it’s like to struggle with self-doubt, shame, and guilt. My own journey has given me empathy and a passion to help others who are facing similar challenges. Growing up, I thought that life was meant to be hard, and that showing emotions other than happiness was not okay. But as I faced my own difficulties, I learned that it’s okay not to be perfect, and that pretending or ignoring problems only works for so long.
