Venita Wiley Wright, MS, LMFT, RPT
About Me
First and foremost I am unapologetically Christian. I believe in the command to "love your neighbor" and as a therapist I "judge not." I am a mother of two beautiful daughters through adoption. I was happily married for 18 years until my husband died of cancer in 2019. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching movies, and traveling. I have an amazing support system that includes my family, friends, and local church. I am very laid back, relaxed, and always endeavor to create a warm, welcoming, supportive environment that facilitates growth, change, and healing.
Education & Experience
I earned the M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from East Carolina University in 2011. I earned a Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy from Capella University in 2013. I earned a Graduate Certificate in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University in 2021. I worked as a Clinical Post Adoption Specialist with Children's Home Society in NC from 2011-2017. I worked as an Outpatient Therapist at Pride in NC from 2017-2019. I have been the proud owner and therapist at INSPIRE Christian Counseling Center, PLLC since 2021.
