About Me
I am a licensed mental health counselor specializing in trauma and addictive behaviors. I have over 12 years experience working with individuals and families seeking relief and resolution from mental health and substance abuse problems. In addition to EMDR training I am trained in DBT, motivational interviewing, experiential therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS informed). I have experience with and frequently work with individuals with complex trauma (C-PTSD) and those with persistent suicidal ideation.
Education & Experience
I have a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have worked in both inpatient/ residential and outpatient settings and have over 12 years experience as a psychotherapist.
