This live webinar is designed for new EMDR therapists – it focuses on how to screen clients for dissociation using both the DES (Dissociative Experiences Scale) as well as clinical indicators. Once dissociation is recognized, five stages of therapeutic work are identified for these clients: 1) Recognizing dissociation/dissociative indicators; 2) Meeting the parts and learning their hidden gifts; 3) Improving collaboration/cooperation between parts; 4) Trauma processing (EMDR processing with permission of parts) and; 5) (Optional) integration of parts. This work is demonstrated through videos of a client work and includes a practice exercise of the internal conference room technique.
