EMDR Therapy and Depression

Depression is one of the most common mental health issues. Although EMDR therapy is most widely known as a post-traumatic stress disorder trauma treatment, using EMDR therapy to treat people struggling with depression is an accepted practice. Research supports EMDR as an effective treatment for depression as well. In this issue of Go With That magazine, our authors explore the following topics.
- EMDR Therapy for Depression: Implications for Mental Health by Sarah Dominguez, Ph.D.
- EMDR Therapy in the Treatment of Depression by Arne Hofmann, M.D. and Maria Lehnung, Ph.D.
- Treatment of Grief and Mourning with EMDR Therapy by Roger Solomon, Ph.D.
- EMDR Therapy with Children Suffering from Depression by Jackie Flynn, Eds, LMHC-S, RPT
- EMDR Therapy of the Depressed Client by Michael Hase, M.D.
