About Me

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my profile. I know starting therapy, especially something as focused as EMDR can feel overwhelming, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to take this step! I tend to take an integrative, client-centered approach, meaning our work is tailored to your unique needs and goals and not a one-size-fits-all model. Whether we're using EMDR or other therapeutic tools, you’ll always have a voice in what we focus on and how we move forward. I believe healing happens when you feel safe and understood, and I’m here to walk alongside you. If you're ready to explore what’s holding you back and move toward meaningful change, I’d be honored to support you.

Education & Experience

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas, and I’ve been passionate about trauma-focused care since the very beginning of my career. I earned my degree from West Texas A&M University in 2017 and completed a 300-hour supervised practicum at the Amarillo VA, where I had the honor of working with veterans and military personnel. That experience opened my eyes to the resilience of those impacted by trauma and sparked a deep commitment to learning how to better support them. Following that, I completed a 3,000-hour internship with Adult Probation, where I worked closely with individuals navigating addiction, trauma, and grief. Those early years taught me just how complex trauma can be and how important it is to meet people with compassion, respect, and practical, evidence-based tools that help. Since 2019, I’ve been in private practice, where I continue to specialize in trauma, while also treating anxiety, life transitions and grief as well. I pursued EMDR training because I saw firsthand how effective it can be in helping clients process and find relief from symptoms. While EMDR is my primary approach, I also draw from a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Restoration Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), depending on what best supports my clients’ goals. I’ve also received specialized training to work with first responders, helping professionals (such as nurses) and military service members; groups who often carry invisible wounds from the work they do every day.
