About Me
I’m an integrative therapist who’s been in practice since 2006, blending CBT, Gottman Method, Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP), and somatic modalities with EMDR to support clients in untangling the deeper roots of trauma and disconnection. My clinical lens is grounded in attachment and the nervous system, with a strong emphasis on helping people move through internal blocks—whether emotional, relational, or spiritual—so they can reclaim access to joy, connection, and embodied self-trust. I work most often with clients exploring sexuality, intimacy, and gender, but my practice spans a wide range of issues including complex trauma, relational harm, religious injury, and identity development. Before moving into private practice, I worked in couples and relational research at the Relationship Research Institute, which still informs my systems-oriented approach. I also offer clinical consultation and supervision, and am both a AAMFT supervisor and AASECT-certified supervisor, supporting clinicians working in depth with sexuality, queer and trans identities, and recovery from both personal and collective trauma.
Education & Experience
I received my BA in Psychology with a minor in Anthropology from the University of British Columbia in 2005, and completed my MS in Marriage and Family Therapy at Seattle Pacific University in 2008. While in graduate school, I worked at the Relationship Research Institute with John and Julie Gottman, facilitating group therapy for couples with IPV as part of a NIH-funded study. I later completed AASECT certification as a sex therapist and earned supervision credentials through both AASECT and AAMFT.
