Mrs. Heather J. Thompson, MS, MA, LMFT

Preferred Name: Heather

About Me

I feel privileged to provide a safe environment for clients to share openly, face challenges directly, and heal wholeheartedly. I am a certified EMDR therapist skilled at working hand in hand with clients to relieve traumatic distress. My private practice offers a sacred space for those navigating early childhood trauma, domestic abuse, the fertility process, as well as those suffering from pregnancy loss or birth trauma. I am educated personally and professionally about ADHD and Autism, and how a missed diagnosis can affect a person’s life. I also hold space for those day to day stressors that tend to build up and feel like an overwhelming avalanche! My educational background includes a Master’s degree from Brandman University in Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, and CSU, Sacramento in 2004 where I completed my thesis on society's impact on adolescent females. I share a life of curiosity, adventure, and laughs with my husband, teenage sons, and dog, Pickles in Northern California!
