About Me
Welcome! I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), EMDR Therapist, and Professional Certified Coach (PCC, ICF) with a Ph.D. in Psychology and over 15 years of clinical experience. I support diverse clients in navigating stress, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, immigration, and workplace issues. At the heart of my practice is EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) - an evidence-based psychotherapy that helps people heal from distressing life experiences, including trauma, anxiety, stress, and other emotional challenges. It is especially effective in treating trauma and PTSD, and it also supports the development of emotional resources such as confidence and self-esteem. Whether you’re processing recent events, past trauma, or long-standing emotional wounds, EMDR can be a powerful step toward relief and resilience. My approach is systemic and integrative. I partner with clients to identify meaningful goals and co-create a personalized treatment plan that draws from gold-standard modalities and evidence-based therapies. These may also include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Bowen Family Systems Therapy, as well as strength-based and solution-focused coaching. Together, we uncover what truly matters, cultivate deep self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and foster sustainable, long-term change. My trauma-informed approach is carefully attuned to each client’s unique needs, fostering emotional resilience and well-being.
