About Me

Michelle Kerrigan, LCSW (Trauma & Relational Specialist) I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trauma specialist with a passion for helping individuals navigate life's complexities with greater awareness and resilience. My approach is integrative, blending modern neuroscience with a deep respect for the mind-body connection to foster lasting change. With a foundation in trauma-informed care, I hold advanced Level 3 certification in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) and am trained in EMDR, DBT, and Somatic Therapy. I skillfully use these tools to help my clients address the root causes of anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and the impacts of trauma. My practice is ideal for high-functioning individuals who feel stuck despite outward success. I specialize in working with those who have a genuine desire for self-discovery but may be navigating substance use, emotional distress, or a general sense of being unfulfilled. My systems-based perspective ensures that our work together is highly individualized, honoring your unique history and goals. Born in Ireland and raised in London and New York City, I bring a unique global and culturally sensitive perspective to my practice here in Florida. My clients often describe the space I create as feeling like "talking to a wise friend"—a safe, judgment-free environment where your self-investment is held as sacred, and you are equipped with practical tools for growth.
