This online course explores imposter syndrome as an adaptive response to relational wounding and unprocessed experiences of shame, perfectionism, and belonging. Using the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, participants examine how imposter narratives appear across roles—client, EMDR Therapist, and Consultant-in-Training (CIT)—and how relational attunement can restore self-trust. Through didactic content, case vignettes, guided reflection, and conceptual demonstrations of EMDR Therapy phases 1–8, participants learn to apply EMDR Therapy principles to self-development and consultation without personal reprocessing.
