About Me
Anxiety, burnout, trauma, helping professionals and First Responders, and clients recovering from MVAs are my specialties. You may have noticed that your reactions and choices no longer align with the life you envisioned. Pressures, stress, and challenges feel like they’re just too much to manage. Thoughts like “I’m not good enough” or “I’ve failed” may be all too familiar. You might feel controlled by your emotions, or disconnected from them altogether. I'm here to help you reconnect with your values, beliefs, and inner strengths. Together, we'll create an environment where you are heard, understood, and accepted for who you are. I take a direct approach to therapy, collaborating together to determine your goals of therapy, possible treatment solutions, and creating a roadmap for sessions. I utilize EMDR, CBT, ACT, and DBT to create a plan that is uniquely tailored to your needs. I'm a fan of humor and love when laughter finds its way into even the most challenging sessions. I offer both virtual and in-person sessions in Hillhurst, Calgary. We all have our challenges, at times needing support to explore various options for a solution to the puzzle that is ourself. It makes my day being able to witness those light bulb moments with clients, watching them become their most authentic self, and holding space to explore acceptance that we are all messy humans.
