This training offers therapists a practical and restorative approach to ethical decision-making in trauma-informed care and EMDR. Participants will explore tools to prevent burnout and ethical drift while reinforcing a strong foundation of integrity, accountability, and client-centered practice. The course emphasizes best practices in informed consent, professional boundaries, and prioritizing client welfare throughout EMDR therapy, as well as animal-assisted yoga and EMDR. Through interactive learning and real-world applications, therapists will gain confidence in navigating complex ethical dilemmas with clarity and compassion. A unique feature of the training includes a live experiential session combining EMDR with animal-assisted yoga, promoting somatic awareness and emotional regulation. This integrative experience supports the well-being of both therapist and client, encouraging embodied ethics and therapeutic presence. Overall, the training fosters resilience, reflection, and renewed commitment to ethical excellence in clinical EMDR practice.
