Approved for 13.5 EMDRIA Credits
The heart of EMDR therapy is about the transformation of painful and confusing memories, promoting psychological health and healing. Guided by the Adaptive Information Processing Model (AIP), EMDR successfully treats a broad range of disorders, to include more severe forms of complex trauma and dissociation. Clients who live further out on the continuum of trauma can be better understood by integrating the theory of The Structural Dissociation of the Personality (TDSP) into an EMDR framework. This phase-oriented approach will enable clinicians to safely approach the client’s internal system, while encouraging cooperation and collaboration among parts throughout the process. Participants will walk away with a conceptual map as well as specific clinical strategies to help navigate this enigmatic territory of the human psyche. This event runs June 20-22, 2025.
