About Me
Currently, I am accepting new clients only for short-term adjunct treatment for those seeking targeted work related to trauma, anxiety, and/or eating or body image issues. Depending on an individual's needs, I use different therapeutic interventions, including EMDR, Mindfulness, IFS (Internal Family Systems,), psychoeducation, coping skills training, mind-body interventions. My approach is trauma-informed and a HAES (Health at Every Size) orientation. I work with each person to identify goals for therapy. My strong belief is that good therapy should always strive to help people improve their ability to regulate their nervous systems, improve self-knowing and self-curiosity, and increase their sense of balance in daily life. I specialize in two areas: · Treating individuals struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating · Helping individuals heal from the effects of childhood trauma and PTSD.
