About Me
Hello! My name is Derrick and I am a Clinical Social Worker. I have been training and working with those with Complex Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) for many years. During this time I have been integrating the modalities that can lead to healing and Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG). These modalities include: Somatic Experiencing (SE), Somatic Resilience and Regulation, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and parts work/ego state interventions.
Education & Experience
I'm a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Social Work. I am also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). I have a small practice that is virtually based.
