Preferred Name: Aunastasia
About Me
I’m an EMDR therapist who specializes in working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, as well as individuals navigating alcohol and substance use. As someone in recovery myself, I bring not only clinical expertise but also deep personal understanding to the healing process. My style is grounded, real, and trauma-informed—I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and empowering. Whether you're working to untangle the impact of past abuse or break free from the grip of addiction (or both), I’m here to support you in rewriting the narrative and reclaiming your life on your terms.
Education & Experience
I hold a PhD in Social Work and a Master of Social Work from Walden University (MSW, 2020), and I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) licensed in Washington and Oregon. In addition to my EMDR training through the EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs in 2021, I’m also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-I, 2019). With over eleven years of clinical experience, I’ve supported children, adolescents, adults, and elders through trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. Since founding Breaking Boulders Counseling in 2023, I’ve provided personalized, telehealth-based trauma and addiction treatment to clients across Washington and Oregon. My work integrates EMDR, CBT, somatic techniques, emotionally focused and strength-based approaches to empower clients in healing from childhood sexual abuse and reclaiming resilience in their lives.
