About Me
Since 2007, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and couples as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward greater health, authenticity, and balance. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in patterns of depression, or coping with addiction, trauma, or life transitions, my role is to help you find clarity, healing, and hope. Before entering private practice, I served as a supervision officer with the Central Nebraska Drug Court and worked in Child Protective Services. These early experiences deepened my understanding of people's real-world challenges—especially when navigating complex systems, high-stress environments, or recovery journeys.
Education & Experience
I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and have continued my education with specialized training in trauma recovery, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), as well as substance use treatment. I work with adults in both individual and couples therapy, helping clients address a wide range of concerns. These include depression and anxiety, addiction and recovery, relationship issues and codependency, divorce and separation, grief and loss, work stress and career transitions, parenting challenges, trauma from abuse, accidents, or natural disasters, and other mood disorders or mental health needs.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I volunteer my time as a member of the Hall County Reentry Team, where I collaborate with local professionals and community partners to support individuals transitioning from incarceration back into the community. Our focus is on reducing recidivism by connecting individuals with critical resources such as housing, employment, mental health and substance use services, and ongoing support systems. Being part of this team allows me to contribute to meaningful change and promote successful reintegration efforts in our community. I also mentor for counseling students and new graduates.
