About Me
Not only am I committed to being your strongest advocate, but I will help you become your own inner coach. I believe in your unlimited capacity to grow and accept yourself, and my passion is to help you improve your quality of life. Together, we will find solutions and create long-term changes. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who are seeking support for trauma, depression, anxiety, college adjustment, life transitions, sexuality/identity, stress management, relationship difficulties, and OCD. Collaboratively, we will examine difficult emotions, understand the root of issues, and set goals for change in a warm, non-judgmental space. Using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques, we will work to improve communication skills, increase positive emotions, process trauma, and encourage self-acceptance. My background and training at New York University’s Silver School of Social Work has shaped my strength-based clinical approach. It is my goal to help you identify the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and use this connection to make changes in your life for the better.
