About Me
I am an EMDR therapist and veterinary social worker; I work with adults and specialize in grief, women's issues, relationship issues, and supporting graduate/professional students as well as the veterinary profession. My clients often struggle with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and a variety of other issues. I provide therapy with a trauma-informed lens and focus on a client-centered, strengths-based, and somatic approach while utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and EMDR. My practice embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion and is LGBTQ+ affirming.
Education & Experience
I have earned a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology and a Master's in Social Work, both from Colorado State University. I also hold a Graduate Certificate in Social Aspects of Human-Animal Interactions from CSU.
