This panel was part of the virtual September 15, 2022 Consultant Day program. This was the first ever Consultant Day program.
This panel—featuring Deborah Korn, PhD; Curt Rouanzoin, PhD; Ana Gomez, MS, LPC; and Regina Morrow Robinson, Ed.S, LMFT, LMHC, NCC—discussed dilemmas and issues consultants face including addressing case conceptualization, reviewing videotaped sessions, boundaries between the consultant/consultee relationship, integrating EMDR therapy with other models, what to do when a consultee is not showing progress, and what to do with consultees that move consultants frequently, and working with consultees prior to their licensure.
This session starts at 2 hours 48 minutes and runs through 4 hours 15 minutes.

- Participants will be able to identify strategies for broaching themes of race, ethnicity, and culture during the consultation process
- Participants will be able to discuss EMDRIA resources and other tools to support their professional development and their consultees
- Participants will be able to discuss possible ethical dilemmas and challenges in the consultation process
- Participants will be able to describe the importance of the consultation process in the professional growth and development of EMDR Therapists
