Tips & Resources for Creating a Recorded Virtual Presentation

EMDRIA asks presenters to pre-record their sessions for virtual events. This document offers helpful and practical tips and resources for pre-recording your presentation.

Presentation Accessibility

EMDRIA staff would like for everyone to be able to comprehend your presentation. Please follow the tips in this handout for creating a more accessible presentation.

Presentation Templates

Please use one of these three presentation templates. Each session needs to have a visual presentation (PowerPoint, Canva, Keynote, Google Slides, Prezi, etc.).

Note: these templates can be opened with PowerPoint, Canva, Keynote (Mac), and Google Slides.

Please provide your PowerPoint presentation as a handout. Submit it as a PDF and put only two slides per page.

Please upload presentation handouts directly to your unique Dropbox folder that was provided to you. If you have misplaced the link to this folder, please email emdrconfteam@emdria.org.

Promote Your Session

Generate interest in your session by taking advantage of EMDRIA’s active social media communities, as well as your own social networks, to promote your upcoming participation at the summit. EMDRIA will provide individual speaker/session images and sample text you can use for this purpose.
