About Me

She began her career at Wisconsin Correction Services in 1989. Cornelia has specifically worked with individuals and groups dealing with mental illness, substance abuse, co-occurrence disorders, trauma, and criminal behaviors. She has worked as a Mental Health/Substance Abuse Clinician on inpatient units that provided detoxification and residential services; Cornelia has worked in the criminal justice field for 5 years in Charlotte, NC. She worked as a Clinical Manager for 5 years and has provided training and clinical supervision for clinicians that wanted to be certified or license by the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board. Cornelia has been practicing for many years from an eclectic approach, using several best practice approaches that meet the specific needs of the client being served. Her goal is to successfully collaborate with other community resources in order to serve children, adolescents, and adults. GOD’S Grace and Recovery have afforded her a chance to rise above life challenges, and she wants to offer the same opportunity to others. Cornelia Pringle is a Qualified Supervisor with the (NCBLCMHC), (CCS) with the North Carolina Addictions Specialist Professional Practice Board. She provides supervision for applicants who are registered with these boards and those who are LCMHCA, CADC’s, and LCASA.

Cornelia Pringle has over 33 years of experience in addiction and mental health. She holds a master's degree (MS) in Substance Abuse & Education, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist (CCBT), Clinically Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist, (CCSOTS), Qualified Supervisor (QS), Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS), Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ICAADC), an Internationally Certified Clinical Supervisor (ICCS).
