Education & Experience

Yvette was born and raised in Arizona and Spanish was her first language. She received her Bachelor' s of Science in Elementary Education and a Master' s in Special Ed and Rehabilitation from the University of Arizona. She taught elementary education for many years/ She received her Master' s in Professional Counseling at Ottawa University, with an emphasis in Trauma, Abuse and Deprivation. She has worked extensively in infant mental health and with DCS prior to coming to Wesley. Yvette has recently completed her training for EMDRiA certification and would like to be a consultant soon in EMDR
