About Me

Hi, I'm Adele. I'm a licensed clinical social worker in private practice in the state of Virginia. I have specializations and certification in treating complex trauma from a somatic and attachment approach. Sometimes our minds get it and we are doing all the right things but we still don't feel better. That is why my somatic/attachment approach seeks to help client's move beyond understanding what is happening (or needs to happen) to strengthen their mind/body connection for a sense of full integration. I seek to be creative in my practice by sharing practical examples and tangible skills to utilize. I attempt to meet you where you are and journey with you as you recognize your own potential. An important part of my job is to help people heal and empower them to have healthy relationships with others, themselves, and the Divine (as they do or do not see fit). I am a brain science nerd and whole-person healing enthusiast. I have extensive history, and the honor, of working with unique populations to include complex trauma survivors, religious and spiritual abuse survivors, the incarcerated, the LGBTQ+ community, the oncology community, and couples moving through intimacy challenges.
