Afa Alizada, LCPC
(She/Her/Hers)
About Me
I help self-aware, introspective people who’ve tried talk therapy and other approaches without lasting change in addressing the roots of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship pain. I tailor EMDR interventions to address attachment and preverbal trauma, complex trauma, and neurodivergence.
Education & Experience
I received my Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the College of William and Mary in Virginia. My education in counseling is complemented with my training as a certified yoga and meditation teacher, which equip me holistic and body-based approaches to treating trauma.
