About Me

You’ve been carrying a lot. Emotionally, mentally, and physically. Whether you’re barely holding it together or already past your breaking point, it’s exhausting. The anxiety. The overthinking. The pressure. The way your mind won’t quiet down. One minute you’re stuck in the past, the next you’re bracing for what’s next. Your patience is thin. You’ve picked up coping habits that get you through the day… But they don’t really help you feel any better. You’ve tried powering through. You’ve tried being strong. But it’s not working anymore. You don’t feel like yourself. And honestly, you’re not sure when you last did. Things may feel heavy now, but change is possible. You deserve support that actually helps. I’m Alexa, a therapist for people who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, and substance use challenges. I work with people who are worn down from trying to hold it all together and are craving real, meaningful change. If you’re looking for more than surface-level solutions and are ready to get to the root of what’s really going on, you’re in the right place. Therapy with me is a space to finally move through what’s been holding you back. A space where you can start living with more clarity, confidence, and freedom. I offer in-person appointments in San Diego, CA and online appointments throughout California, Indiana, and Ohio. Education & Experience

I specializing in helping high-achieving professionals such as military veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, and therapists who are navigating anxiety, trauma, substance use, and insomnia. I work with clients who are looking for more than just a place to vent. They want to understand what’s going on beneath the surface, make meaningful changes, and feel more confident and grounded in who they are. My style is collaborative, direct, and compassionate. I’ll be honest with you, ask thoughtful questions, and offer tools that help. You don’t have to perform or have it all figured out. Just show up as you are, and we’ll work from there. In our sessions, you can expect: -A space that’s real, not rigid. We’ll talk about what matters, without judgment or fluff. -Evidence-based approaches. I use EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the Gottman Method, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) when appropriate. -A balance of insight and action. We’ll explore the roots of what’s happening and also talk about what to do with that insight. The people I work best with are insightful, motivated, and ready to go deeper. They’re often healthcare workers, therapists, first responders, military-connected adults, and high responsibility professionals who’ve been carrying a lot for a long time and want to do more than just get through the day. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, burned out, or overwhelmed, I’ll meet you there and support you in finding your way forward.
