About Me

Are you feeling stuck? Can’t break out of the cycle? Or maybe you recently experienced a loss, and you’d like help picking up the pieces to figure out what happened. Despite knowing that certain behaviors aren’t working anymore, it may be very difficult to change or interrupt painful, destructive patterns that seem to hijack our lives and relationships. This can leave folks feeling frustrated, helpless, hopeless, or just broken. Therapy can provide you with the experiences, tools, and insight to make meaningful changes in your life and promote personal growth. I offer EMDR and emotion-focused therapy to adults across WA state. I frequently work with folks on topics related to relationships, sexuality, grief/depression, OCD, life transitions, and trauma. I focus on helping you uncover the root causes, interpersonal themes, and stuck emotions that contribute to your current distress. My clients describe me as warm, genuine, and open minded. We will make time to prioritize your well-being, nurture emotional awareness, and encourage living in alignment with your values. Reach out for a free 15-minute phone consultation, and we’ll work together to create the life you want to be living.

Education & Experience

I've had the immense privilege of practicing as a psychotherapist for nearly a decade. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology, and I completed my pre-doctoral as well as post-doctoral residencies at the University of Washington. I was trained in EMDR by Francine Shapiro's EMDR Institute (www.emdr.com). I'm happy to answer any questions you have about my training and professional experiences.
