Alexandra McKay, LMFT, EMDRIA Certified Therapist

EMDRIA Certified Therapist™

Online Therapy

About Me

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in guiding individuals, couples, and families through challenges such as anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and relational distress. I use evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Somatic Experiencing to help clients achieve lasting, meaningful change. As an LMFT, I assist individuals, couples, and families in untangling the emotional patterns that keep them feeling stuck. My goal is to provide a supportive space to heal and restore balance, helping you feel safe enough to explore even the hardest parts of your story.

Education & Experience

I hold a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Louis University. My professional experience includes roles as a therapist at Alexandra McKay Therapy, LLC, Dynamic Counseling, and Illume Counseling & Wellness. I am EMDR Certified through EMDRIA. I am also certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and am a Sex Therapy Informed Professional through ISTI and AANE-Certified Neurodiverse Couples Therapist. I am licensed in both New Jersey (License #37FI00243200) and Indiana (License #85000532A).
