Alison Acton, LMFT
About Me
As the Clinical Supervisor for Tulare County Child Welfare Services I supervise a team of Therapists who utilize EMDR as one offered modality in the provision of clinical services. I am responsible for initiating, implementing, and supervising the use of EMDR within Tulare County Child Welfare Clinical Services since December of 2012. I am also in private practice providing EMDR Therapy and Consultation. I am experienced in working with trauma survivors and their loved ones and specialize in treating PTSD and Complex Trauma. I am passionate about EMDR Therapy and the profound healing and relief that it brings. I enjoy working with EMDR trained Therapists on obtaining EMDR certification.
Education & Experience
I have 30 years of experience working as an LMFT and 25 years of experience providing clinical supervision and training to therapists pursuing licensure.
